Mr. Joseph Ward CEO / Board ChairmanMr. Joseph A. Ward is a graduate of the Florida A&M University (FAMU) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Mr. Ward possesses over ten years of experience in delivering “Academic Success” presentations to grades K-12 as well as college and middle-aged adults. By working in such diverse venues such as grade schools, college campuses, juvenile divergent programs, correctional institutions, religious communities, homeless shelters, and foster homes, Mr. Ward has gained the experience of providing valuable life skills training to a wide variety of community members.
Mr. Ward is a graduate of the “New Hope Program” with the Florida Department of Health (DOH) in Leon County and has served as a co-facilitator of the program for over seven years, teaching life and professional skills to underprivileged persons. In addition to co-facilitating this program, he also helped establish the FAMU chapter of Men of Strength (MOST) and currently serves as its co-facilitator. Mr. Ward successfully developed the Sexual Violence Prevention Program with the Florida DOH in Leon County and holds over ten years of sexual and domestic violence prevention training experience with A Call to Men, Men Can Stop Rape, and the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence. He is also the founder of Live Skilled Live Fulfilled, a comprehensive life-skills training and sexual and domestic violence prevention development and research company. Over the past 14 years, Mr. Ward has dedicated himself to studying the history and the culture of the African diaspora. He is the founder of On the Shoulders of Giants, Inc., author of On the Shoulders of Giants Vol: 1 North America, and On the Shoulders of Giants Vol: 2 Central America. He is also the host of The Freedom Train Podcast Series and The Fix Sports Podcast. Mr. Ward’s commitment to his community has proven him to be a reputable teacher, coach, trainer, and motivator. He is dedicated to uplifting and educating individuals around the world while helping to create mindsets and environments which foster greatness. |
Mr. Patrick Irvine PresidentPatrick Irvine served 8 years in the Air Force where he helped develop and implement numerous new training initiatives and safety modifications. Once he finished his enlistment he went to work for the State of Florida where he built and overhauled a number of the programs used by the Central Pharmacy. He also created the operations quality check component, and started up the lean six sigma initiatives for the General Tax Administration. He then opened his own business as a business process engineer with the sole focus of helping the black business owner. Patrick has also spent time working with the founder Urban Intellectuals developing and implementing new UI Initiatives. Currently in addition to running Pacts, he serves as the co-host of the Freedom Train, an international podcast series that gives a platform to the movers and shakers in the community.

Mr. Delaitre hollinger Vice PresidentA fifth-generation Tallahasseean, Delaitre J. Hollinger is the Founder and Executive Director of the National Association for the Preservation of African-American & Culture, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of historical properties and preservation advocacy. He currently serves as a Legislative Intern to Senator Geraldine Thompson. He is the founding Curator and is Associate Director of the Taylor House Museum of Historic Frenchtown with the Tallahassee Urban League, Inc., where he has served since 2011. Delaitre played a key role in having the 121-year-old Taylor House placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. On January 8, 2016, he was appointed to the Utility Citizens Advisory Committee (Tallahassee) by City Manager Rick Fernandez.
Delaitre is a highly sought-after public speaker, having been invited to serve as guest speaker by elementary, middle, and high schools, and by state officials. He has received numerous awards for his community service and leadership, being recognized as the Tallahassee community’s Youth of the Year by the Capital Outlook. He has been honored with the prestigious TCC Cherry Hall Alexander African-American History Calendar, Tallahassee Chapter of the Links, Inc. Outstanding Community Service, Leon County Board of County Commissioners Resolution for dedication to community service, NAACP Youth and College Award, Leon County Schools, and the American Student Association of Community Colleges. Delaitre is the author of And This Too Shall Pass – The Story of Aquilina C. Howell (Bookstand Publishing, Inc., 2012) and an author of STAND UP!: 75 Young Activists Who Rock The World And How You Can Too! (Publishing Syndicate, LLC, 2013), which garnered him a Nautilus Book Award, and an IndieFab Book Award for excellence in Young Adult Non-Fiction. At the age of 18, he became one of the youngest persons to ever run for the office of city commission in Tallahassee, FL. |
Mr. Wallace Ward TreasurerWallace B. Ward II is President and CEO of Corner Stone Healthcare Solutions LL C, providing preventative healthcare and consulting to the local community and business owners that serve the communities. A highly sought after Motivational Speaker and Author of The Man-U-Script. W. B. Ward II is a graduate of Florida A & M University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management. Ward has close to seven years of experience presenting preventative health education to diverse groups ranging from college age students to elderly populations.
During his internship, Ward graduated from the “New Hope Program” with the Leon County Health Department. Ward learned how to develop curriculum's to address the needs of the communities he served. The program taught life and professional skills to under served members of the communities, and Ward used this experience to develop this self-help guide to the path of “Manhood” entitled The Man-U-Script. Mr. Ward experience as the Senior Outreach Liaison at Bond Community Health Center allowed him to speak to “at risk” youth groups about the benefits of knowing how to protect themselves from STD's including HIV/AIDS. Recognizing that the definition of "health" is not merely the absences of sickness or disease, but the overall physical, mental, psychological, and psycho-social well-being, Ward begin to expand his teachings to include the basic principles of life such as good hygiene, manners, respect, etiquette and any other topic requested by group instructors. |
Ms. Inez Ward SecretaryInez F. Dickerson-Ward born was born and raised in Gainesville, FL, I worked as a maid one day and immediately I knew this is not my calling. I attended Santa Fe Community College 1975 through 1977 earning my A.S. Degree in Human Service Counseling & Correction; also I worked in the Administration office as a clerk. I conducted my college internship at Landcaster Detention Center in Trenton, FL. January 1, 1978 I transferred to Florida A&M University majoring in Social Work & Counseling, I also worked in the FAMU Financial Aid Office as a corresponding clerk. I completed my second internship with the Tallahassee Urban League as an educator conducting outreach and counseling; I earned my B.S. Degree on April 11, 1980.
I worked as a Workmen's Compensation clerk until 1983 as I became an intake counselor for The Department of Labor Employment and Security at the Unemployment Office. I worked as an employment counselor at James S. Rickards High School educating students about the values of obtaining and maintaining Employment. I later became a Job corps Recruiter for the Department of Labor and Security at the Unemployment Office. In my free time I would serve as a mentor for the students at Bond Elementary School. |
